Explain the mechanism
A strategy should have a reason to exist beyond a compelling chart. We value understandable rules, testable hypotheses, explicit assumptions, and an honest account of what could invalidate the idea.
TacticTrades is a trading technology initiative focused on systematic strategies, trading automation, arbitrage mechanics, and AI-assisted research. Our point of view is straightforward: tools should make assumptions easier to inspect—not make risk disappear from view.
Trading is full of simple stories about complicated outcomes. A historical curve can hide overfitting; a visible spread can disappear after costs; an AI answer can sound certain while being wrong. We want our content to start one step later—with the mechanism, the evidence, and the failure conditions.
That means distinguishing education from product availability, illustrative interfaces from live systems, and safe execution from positive expected value. We would rather describe an uncertainty honestly than make a promise the data cannot support.
These principles guide how we explain strategies and evaluate automation. They are standards to work toward—not a claim that every capability described on this website is already deployed.

Quoted prices are not guaranteed fills. Liquidity, fees, slippage, latency, order state, funding, and exchange rules can change the economics of a trade. A serious discussion includes these details.
A system can satisfy operational safeguards and still lose money. Risk controls determine when an action is allowed; independent evidence must support the claim that a strategy has an edge.
We do not invent customer counts, live trading volume, win rates, returns, or exchange partnerships. Illustrations are labelled as illustrations; general research is not presented as a live product result.
Automation and AI can assist a workflow, but permissions, risk limits, review, monitoring, and emergency-stop behaviour should remain explicit and auditable.
Market behaviour changes. Any real system needs monitoring for model error, data quality, execution drift, and conditions that justify reducing exposure or stopping.
Explore the mechanics of trend following, mean reversion, statistical arbitrage, market making, execution algorithms, and crypto-market arbitrage. Learn how bots turn rules into orders and how AI can support research without becoming an unquestioned authority.
